Lea Ann Rachels

Ms. LeaAnn Rachels of Beaver Drive in Augusta, passed peacefully at her residence on Monday, November 3, 2009. She was 55 years old. The family will receive friends on Thursday December 3, 2009 between 6:00pm and 8:00 pm at Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta. There will be a service held at 7:00 pm in the chapel at the funeral home. Ms. Rachels was born in Worchester, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Kenneth L. LaBrack and Alice Spencer LaBrack, on July 27, 1954. She was also preceded in death by her brother Louis LaBrack. Ms. Rachels is survived by her son, Kenneth “K.C.” Chaney, of Augusta;her daughter Amy Ryan and her husband Jeffrey, of Augusta; two grandchildren Aliyah Ryan and Skylar Ryan. Ms. Rachels was a loving mother and grandmother and she will be truly missed by her family and friends.
