Laura Wray Washington

Miss. Laura W. Washington Harlem, Georgia entered into rest October 17, 2016 in Columbia County, Georgia. Miss. Laura W. Washington,23, daughter of Robert T. Washington, Jr., and Rebecca Ferrell Washington. Laura a lifelong resident of Columbia County was a graduate of Harlem High School and worked beside her father in his painting business. She was a loving daughter, sister and Aunt and she loved kids. A funeral service will be conducted Friday, October 21, 2016 at Martinez Baptist Church at 2:00 pm with Reverend Phillip A. Winsett officiating. Burial will follow at Harlem Memorial Cemetery, Harlem, Ga. Additional survivors include her brothers, William and James Paul Washington, sister, Lea Washington and her paternal grandparents, Robert Tummie, Sr., and Betty Washington. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 1:00-2:00 pm.
