Larry Franklin Mckenzie

Larry Franklin McKenzie, entered into rest at his residence on Friday, July 28, 2017. Husband of Debra R. McKenzie. Other survivor includes his sister, Lawanda Gamble (Cecil). He is preceded in death by his mother and Stepfather, Lois and Dennis Gordon and father and step mother, Cecil and Mageline McKenzie. He is also survived by his work family at Starrett trucking. He formed many close friendships due to his long work days and strong ethic. Larry served in the US Army (two tours). After leaving the military, he worked at Gary Concrete for many years. Most recently, he had retired from Starrette Trucking Company in Augusta where he worked as a transportation manager.
