Mrs. Lanora Nattinger, 85, of Augusta, GA passed away on Friday, April 17, 2015 at Pruitt Health after an extended illness. Born in Cotton, GA, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Lena Mae Turner. Lanora was a retired seamstress supervisor and a member of Cliffwood Presbyterian Church where she was very active until her illness. She loved her Lord and her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son in law, Tommie Townsend, three brothers, and three sisters. Lanora is survived by her loving husband, John G. Nattinger, three daughters, Jeannie (Andy) Chavous, Aiken, SC, Brenda Kay, Hephzibah, GA, Dianne Townsend, Louisville, GA, stepchildren, Bruce (Ann) Nattinger, Wisconsin, Scott (Hope) Nattinger, Connecticut, Ross (Bonnie) Nattinger, Florida, Todd (Carol) Nattinger, Andrea (Mark) Lamar, both ofAugusta, GA, brother, Rev. J. D. Turner, Statesboro, GA, nineteen grandchildren, and eighteen great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 20, 2015 from 2-3pm at the Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta. Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 3pm in the Chapel of Poteet Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
