Kenneth Harvey Sumner

Kenneth Harvey Sumner, 73, entered into rest at his residence on December 3, 2022. Kenneth was born on October 17, 1949, in Long Beach, California to the late Robert Hugh and Charline Marie Sumner. Lived most of his life in Augusta area. He was a Self-Employed Insurance Agent and a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and a Baptist. Survivors include his daughters Susan Thomas (Bo); Jennifer Ivey; six brothers Steve Sumner (Sarah); Robert Sumner; Gary Sumner (Janet); Terry Sumner; David Hattaway (Jackie); Jimmy Hattaway (Debbie); seven grandchildren Taylor Reese (Tyler); Hunter Thomas; Dalton Goff; Baylee Gough; Kendall Ivey; Charla Sumner; Chance Majzer; and two great grandchildren, Riley Reese and Princeton Goff. His former wife Charlotte Sumner, he is preceded in death by his parents and one daughter Kristen Sumner. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at 11:00 am, from Bellevue Memorial Gardens Chapel with Pastor Johnny Rockefeller officiating. The family will receive friends 1 Hour prior to service, with burial to follow at the cemetery. Pallbearers will be Hunter Thomas, Ryan Sumner, Ben Sumner, Michael Sumner, Jake Sumner, Gary Sumner, Terry Sumner, and Steve Sumner.
