Kenneth Ray Griffith, 76, entered into rest October 20, 2021 at his residence, husband of the late Linda L. Ginn Griffith. Kenneth a native of West Frankfort, IL was born December 28, 1944 to the late Herbert and Nellie Cox Griffith. He was retired from the US Air force of 23 years and at the rank of Senior Master Sargent where he served Viet Nam Era, he was a member of Matlock Baptist Church in Jackson, SC, he is a Mason and a member of VFW and American Legion Post 192. He was affectionately known as Poppy by all who knew him. He loved his family and his country and the Waffle House in Evans, He never lost his since of humor. He is survived by a son, Kenneth R. Griffith, II (Amy); daughters, Gina Speegle (Mike); Angie Hood (Bill); brother, Eddie Griffith (Darlene); sisters, Corrine Kluck (Vic); Jane Ann Hartline; five grandchildren, Ashton Oberhauser (Andy); Kory Hood (Sarah); Blayne Hood (Taylor); Brittney Speegle (Brandon) and Graham Griffith and sixgreat grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews and other family and friends. A celebration of his life will be Friday, October 22, 2021 at The Sanctuary Church at 11:00 am with Pastor BryanCockrell officiating.
