Kathleen Connor Chapman

Mrs. Kathleen Connor Chapman, 76 of Blythe, GA, entered into rest Monday, July 2, 2012.Mrs. Chapman was born in Fair Bluff, NC to the late Nettie Herring and Wilbert Connor. She is the wife of Jack L. Chapman. Graveside services will be held Friday, July 6, 2012 at Hillcrest Memorial Park at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Dwayne French officiating. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Chapman is survived by a son; Michael K. Parker of Newnan, GA, two daughters; Rose P. Van Winkle of Blythe and Michelle P. Chapman of Columbia SC,a sister; Ruby Helms of Abbetsburg, NC, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Chapman is preceded in death by a son; Willie Thomas Parker, two sisters; Leatha Wilson and Shelby Shaw, and a brother; H. W. Connor. The family will receive friends Thursday, July 5, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Poteet Funeral Home is proudly serving the Chapman Family.
