Katherine G. Mullis

Katherine G. Newsome Mullis entered into rest at her residence on December 19th, 2020. Born November 30th, 1939 to the late Roy C. Newsome and the late Emma Kate Chapman in Louisville, Georgia. Katherine then relocated to Hephzibah, Georgia where she spent most of her life. Katherine is preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Deborah Bridges, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters. Survivors include four daughters, Margie Willis (Tommy), Lanetha Bartlett, Sandra Williard, and Sherry Grindle (Jerry), one son, Martin Mullis (Alice), 15 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren. A Graveside Service will take place on December 23rd, 2020 at 10:00am at Hephzibah-Vance Cemetery located at 4789 Windsor Spring Road, Hephzibah, Georgia 30815, with Reverend John Raborn officiating. Pallbearers will be Brian Daniel, Jamie Daniel, Caleb Daniel, Casper Finley, Raymond Grindle, and Keith Major. The Family asks that anyone attending the service please be respectful of Covid-19 regulations and wear a mask and social distance.
