Miss Katherine Lea McMillan, of Cedar Creek, Texas, died on Wednesday, October 10, 2012.She was 30 years old. Miss McMillan is survived by her mother, Paula Holmes Vega, of Grovetown; her father, Kenneth McMillan, of North Carolina; step father, John F. Ramirez Sr.; her maternal grandparents, James and Gazel Holmes, of Hyden, Alabama; paternal grandmother, Barbara McMillan, of Ohio, paternal grandfather, Theren McMillan, of Dafter, Michigan; her sisters, Rachel McMillan, of North Carolina, Elinor Ramirez Graham, of Tupelo, Mississippi, Mickala Ramirez, of Augusta; her brothers, Kenneth McMillan, of North Carolina, John F. Ramirez Jr. of Phoenix, Arizona, Joseph Ramirez, of Augusta; her aunts, Dawn Holmes Robinson, Lea Garrett, Margarita Baird, Alice Tokar, Martha Torpey; her uncles, James D. Holmes, James McMillan, Joseph McMillan, Eric McMillan, Rosendo Ramirez Jr., Franklin Ramirez, Danny Ramirez, Christopher Ramirez, Valentine Ramirez, Edward Ramirez, Patrick Ramirez; Great Aunt and Uncle, Faye and Harold Rickabaugh, Great Aunt, Beverly Holmes;niece, Angel Ramirez; cousin, Julie Harlan, and a number of cousins. Miss McMillan was a care provider for the Merry Lee Foundation.She enjoyed bowling and online gaming. She loved working with the mentally challenged. A memorial service will be conducted on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at 8:30 a.m. at St. Michaels – Good Shepherd Chapel at Ft. Gordon.Fr. Joseph Lee will officiate.
