Biography Juanita K. Stripling Born on April 12, 1920 in rural south Georgia Juanita K. Stripling passed away at the age of 93 on May 13, 2013. She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Dock A. Stripling and three sons Richard Antone, Frederick Eugene, and Eric Stephen. Sister, Mattie Lou Sarao. Kitten, as she was known by Dock, also leaves a legacy of grandchildren; Ronnie, Dianne, David, Russell, Mark, Wayne, Micah, Jared, Shannon, Donna, Freddie, Tim, Jon-Eric, Shawn, and Jessica. As Mom would say there is also a mess of great and great,great grandchildren. Daughter- In-Law, Shirley S. Hardage. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 pm at Bellevue Memorial Gardens Chapel. Rev. Sonny Serigney and Rev. Phillip Winsett officiating. Entombment will follow at Bellevue. Mother was a true Army wife accompanying Dock wherever the Army sent him and would let her go, from Georgia to California to Kentucky and Tennessee to Verdun, France to Maryland to the Panama Canal Zone, serving also, supporting her soldier and their five sons. Finally coming home to Georgia to retire in Augusta. Mom was a philanthropist, not so much with money but her time and caring. All of the boys have friends that called her "Mom". She did things like making handmade Christmas decorations for the family, she continued to do even after her poor little hands were twisted with arthritis. Mom suffered the lost of all of her siblings except for her sister. She and Dad have lost two sons Jerry Wayne, and Dock Ernest. Suffered from the pain and loss of mobility from Rheumatoid Arthritis and never complained about anything except feeling she wasn't doing her job. At 5:07 a.m. her God called her home for the much deserved rest, and to fill one more saints spot in Heaven.
