Judy M. Matthews

Mrs. Judy L. Matthews, of Blythe, died on Monday, October 31, 2011 at University Hospital.She was 70 years old. Judy is survived by her children, Vickie Lynn Snoddy (Bruce Jeffrey), of Evans, Patricia D. Watton (Terrance Watton Jr.), of Blythe, Mark Andrew Reynolds, of Blythe, and Teresa Lee Reynolds, of North Augusta; her former husband, Vernon Rees Matthews, of Augusta; her grandchildren, Christine Parker (Chris), Terrance E. Watton III, Travis Andrew Watton, and Whitney Diana Reynolds; her mother-in-law and best friend, Mrs. Jessie Matthews; her brothers, Bobby, Billy, and Richard Montgomery; her sisters, Robbie Gregory and Reba Reese; her four great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and close friends. Judy was retired from the meat Department at the Lumpkin Road Piggly Wiggly.She had co-owned Quality Tire and Automotive Service.Judy was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to many.She enjoyed cooking and was renowned for her wonderful food.
