Julia (Judy) Christine Harp, 89, entered into rest April 5, 2021 in Augusta, Georgia. She was born 4/27/1931 in Swainsboro, Georgia and lived most of her life in the Augusta area. Ms. Harp was employed with the Medical College of Georgia and served as a private duty nurse for many years; and was an active member of the Bible Deliverance Temple for more than 30 years. Survivors include her sisters (Betty Brown and Bobbi Lynn Kelly); her brothers (John and Terry Futch); one granddaughter, two great grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Survivors also include several nieces, grand-nieces, nephews and grand-nephews that will miss her greatly. Ms. Harp is preceded in death by her parents (Albert Louis Hall and Betty Futch), her son (Jimmy Hall), brother (Lynwood Hall) and sister (Ann Dow). The family is grateful and appreciative for the excellent care and love she received from Ms. Charlotte Johnson. Ms. Charlotte was not just a caretaker, but a trusted and loving friend. Special thanks also to Ms. Ella Edwards, Mr. Ricco Williams, and Peanut for helping to care for her. Ms. Judy loved travel, music, singing, flowers and spending time with family. She was a spunky, opinionated and confident lady. Friends and family will tell you she always had the last word. A memorial service celebrating Ms. Judy’s life will be held at Bible Deliverance Temple, 1857 Fenwick Street, Augusta, GA 30904, on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 11:00 am.
