Joyce Starnes Szocinski

Biography Mrs. Joyce Starnes Szocinski Civil Service Augusta, Ga. entered into rest September 27, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Joyce Starnes Szocinski wife of the late Mr. Casmier Szocinski. Mrs. Szocinski a lifelong resident of Augusta. She retired from Civil Service at Ft. Gordon, Ga. She was a member of First Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. Survivors include, two sons, Joseph C. Szocinski (Cleavie), North Augusta, SC, Robert Szocinski (Nancy) Evans, Ga., daughter, Kathy Mills (Mark) Augusta, Ga., brother, Marion Starnes (Margaret) Augusta, Ga., sister, Dolly Burns, Augusta, Ga. Four grandchildren, Rhett, Casey, Victoria and Steven D. Scott, III, one great grand daughter, Anna Harper Scott. Preceding her in death are her parents, William T. Starnes and Victoria Smith Smnoak, son Joseph Roy Szocinski and one granddaughter, Stephanie Scott., grandson, Terri Szocinski Funeral services will be conducted at First Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church Saturday at 2:00 pm. Rev. Craig Wieberdink officiating. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Ricky Beatly, Richard Cundey, Jordan Pinkston, Denis Reese, Brian Leonard and Jerry Schlein.
