Joseph William Sleister

Mr. Joseph William Sleister Martinez, GA. Mr. Joseph William Sleister,70, husband of Mrs. Marilyn B. Sleister, entered peacefully into rest on Tuesday, June 28th, 2016. Mr. Sleister was born in Camden, NJ, but spent the majority of his life in the Martinez area, where he worked as a Masonry Contractor and was the owner of Brick Creations Custom Design. He was also a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. In addition to his wife, Mr. Sleister leaves behind his son, Terry Sleister (Brittney); brother, Donald Robinson (Marcie); nieces, Courtney Leigh and Annie Hinds (Kent); nephew, Dusty Brown; grandchildren, Joseph, Madison, and Emily; and great nephew, Jordan Hinds. A memorial service will be held in the Thomas L. King Funeral Home Chapel (124 Davis Rd, Augusta, GA) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 1st. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
