Joseph C. Collins

Joseph C. Collins, age 64, entered into rest on May 28th, 2021. Joey was born on March 19th, 1957 in Augusta, Georgia. Joey spent the majority of his life in Augusta where he previously worked as the Assistant Manager at the Hampton Inn. He was known for his love for his family. Survivors include, his Father, James C. Collins, sister, Jane Hutto (Larry), Niece, Tiffany Harwell (John), Nephew, Bryan Hutto, three Great Nephews, Hunter Harwell (Haley), Dawson Harwell, and Scotty Hutto, two Great Nieces, Savannah Hutto and Carly Wombles, two Great Great Nephews, Finnley Harwell and Brantley Harsey, two Aunts, an Uncle, and a whole lot of Cousins. Joey is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Joe Walker Collins. A Memorial Service for Joey will take place on June 1st, 2021 at 4:00pm at St. Luke’s Anglican Church located at 3081 Wheeler Rd, Augusta, GA 30909. Family and Friends will gather at Jane and Larry’s following the service.
