Joseph Michael Cawley Sr. Joseph Michael Cawley Sr. of Belvedere, South Carolina died on Saturday, June 05, 2010 at his home. The family will receive friends today, Monday, June 7, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, North Augusta Ward, 1704 Bunting Drive, North Augusta, SC.The funeral will be conducted on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the church.Committal services will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens in Langley, SC.Bishop Robert Loose will officiate. Michael is survived by his wife of more than 37 years, Angela McCoy Cawley; his children, Michelle Cawley Ranson and her husband, Jason, of North Augusta, Michael Cawley Jr., of North Augusta, Jennifer Cawley Arey and her husband, Allen, of Hawaii, Jeffery Cawley of Belvedere, and Kathy Cawley of Belvedere; his grandchildren, Cole Ranson, Marley Ranson, Natascha Arey, and Mason Ranson; his sister, Patricia Lind of Martinez; his brother, John W. Cawley Jr., and his wife, Charlene, of North Augusta; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Chester and Mary McCoy, of Martinez; many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in law, other relatives, and close friends.He was preceded in death by his parents, John W. Cawley Sr. and Evelyn Cawley, and by his sister, Virginia Kellum. Michael was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where he had served in many roles.He had been an investigator with the Richmond County Sheriff’s Department and a teacher in the Richmond County School System. Pallbearers are Eric Shealy, Jerry Phillips, Clifford Ranson, Wendell Ranson, John Cawley III, and Ian Calk.
