Mr. Johnny Clarke Mr. Johnny Clarke, of North Augusta, South Carolina, on Friday, October 8, 2010, joined the Lord to become an angel at the tender age of 24. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta.The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.The committal services will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.Pallbearers will be Ethan Eller, Daniel Hopkins, Cecil Lee, Micah Vincent, James Carver, and Don Grant. Mr. Clarke is survived by his wife, Sandy Burke Clarke, of North Augusta; his children, Richard Alexander Clarke, and Elaina Nichole Clarke, both of North Augusta; his mother, Anna Marie Clarke; his grandmother, Marie Raborn Clarke; three sisters, Regina Lohrman, and her fiancée Don Grant, of Augusta, Bobbi Jean Woomer, AlenaMarie Murray, and her husband, Jeffrey, of Augusta; his brother, David Anthony Clarke, of Augusta; Mr. Clarke was preceded in death by his grandfather, George W. Clarke, and by his father, George R. Clarke. Mr. Clarke was born in Augusta, Georgia.He enjoyed working at Fletcher Auto Sales.He was a loving father, and husband, his children and family were his life.
