Johnnie Jackson was born on December 22, 1964, in Augusta, Georgia, to the late Almary Scurry and stepfather, Johnnie Jackson Sr. He attended Lucy C. Laney High School. Johnnie was known for being a true conversationalist, always engaging others with his warm smile. Johnnie married Diana R. Jackson on June 9, 2000. An entrepreneur and jack of all trades, he excelled as a sign maker, t-shirt artist, graphic designer, and painter. Johnnie was also a dedicated servant of Jehovah God, finding joy in personal Bible reading, family studies, and ministry work, often sharing his love for Jehovah and the Bible with others. On Friday, October 18, 2024, Johnnie departed life with the assured hope of being in Jehovah’s memory for a resurrection to a joyful life on earth under peaceful, paradisiac conditions. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Diana Jackson, and a loving family that includes his daughter Chevone Armstrong (Joseph), sons Calvin Stewart (Kimberly), Marcus Jackson (Ashley), Steven Jackson (Jamika), Terrence Jackson, Rocqrell Jackson (Jocelyne), Tavares Burton, daughter TaNajah Jackson, sons Dejonte Jackson (RaeDejana), Jalen Jackson, and stepchildren Latoria Streetman, Lorenzo Streetman, and Donald Streetman Jr. and his father Ulysses Fair. He also leaves behind seven siblings: Hugh Evans, Shawn Harris (Bernard), Earl Eubanks, Uneeca Eubanks, Valarie Clark, Mary Fair, and many other cherished family members and friends Memorial Services will be held at: Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 2103 Boykin Road Augusta, GA 30906 Saturday, November 9, 2024 3:00 PM
