John Thomas Reeves, Sr.

John Thomas Reeves, Sr.,76, entered into rest March 14, 2021. Husband of 32 years to J. Deborah McBride Reeves. John was born March 27, 1944 in Macon, Georgia where he lived and had several businesses until moving to Evans, Georgia. He was the owner and operator of Bellevue Memorial Gardens. John served in the US Navy. Additional survivors include his children, Angela Dawn Kennedy (Glenn); John Thomas Reeves, Jr., (Ginger); Karolyn Kimberly Maddox; Adam Thomas Reeves; sisters, Paula Jean ‘Sue’ Lea (Townes); Betty Jane Johnson (James); Joy ‘Mary’ Alamonda Guido (Lawrence); Linda Caroline Blackstone (Jim); five grandchildren, Amanda, Sara, Matthew, Renee and Walter, four great grandchildren, Haylee, Luke, Alexander and Liam. He is preceded in death by his parents, Byron and Pauline Blizzard Reeves, brother, Byron “Buddy” Duke Reeves and his wife Carole Sue. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 4:00 pm from Bellevue Memorial Gardens Chapel with Reverend Dewain French officiating. He will be placed in his Crypt at Bellevue Chapel following the service. The family will receive friends at the chapel 1 hour prior to service.
