John Lee Mcglohorn

Mr. Johnny McGlohorn of Hwy 221 North in Adrian died at his home on Friday, December 25, 2009.He was 68 years old. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 from 12:00 until 2:00 pm at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta.The funeral service will follow the visitation on Tuesday at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.Burial will be at Hephzibah Vance Memorial Cemetery. Johnny is survived by his wife of more than 35 years, Linda McGlohorn; his children, Rodney Kitchings and his wife Gina, of Hephzibah, Angie Bedgood and her husband David, of Adrian, Al Kitchings and his wife Leslie, of Hephzibah, and Laura Parker and her husband Bo, of Hephzibah; his sisters and brother, Shirley Pitts, Pat Joyner, Robbie Myers, Donna Kitchens, Melissa Snellings, and Bill McGlohorn; his grandchildren, Preston Kitchings, Josh Bedgood, West Bedgood, Tiffany Torres, Jenny Parker, and Tony Parker; his great-grandchildren, Elias, C.J., Easton, Hayden, Makayla, and Jaeda.He was preceded in death by his son, Tony Kitchings in 1982, and by his parents, Atticus McGlohorn and Lena Barton Bell. Johnny was a native of Burke County.He was a carpenter and an avid fisherman.
