John L. Howell

John L. Howell, III, of Waynesboro, GA., passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at the age of 47.He worked in the maintenance department for P. & G. for over 15 years.He was an avid outdoorsman loving to hunt and fish.He was preceded in death by his father, John L. Howell, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Tammy (Etterle) Howell; 3 children, Donnie L. Howell of Waynesboro, GA., Kayla R. Howell of Waynesboro, GA., and John L. Howell IV of the home; 1 granddaughter, Caitlyn A. Nichols and 1 grandson, Landon K. Jordan; his mother, Rosalie Timmermann Howell; 1 sister, Teresa H. Wallace of Blyth, GA., and Phillip L. Howell, Sr. of McBean, GA.Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Family will receive friends Friday 5 pm to 8 pm at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Rd., Augusta, GA., 30906, 706.798.8886.
