Hephzibah, GA. John M. Geib, age 64, of Hephzibah, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2016. He was born July 16, 1951, in Bronx, NY, to the late Edward and Catherine Carey Geib.He was preceded in death by a brother, James Geib, 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He is survived by his wife, Mary Palmatier Geib of the home; MaryJo Geib of Acworth, GA., Catherine (Christopher) Gilpin of Augusta, and Theresa (Tommy) White of Hopewell Junction, N.Y.; 5 grandchildren and 1 sister, Helene Henry of Long Island, N.Y.Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Monday 2 pm to 3 pm at THE POTEET FUNERAL HOME, 3465 Peach Orchard Rd., HWY 25, Augusta, 30906, with Memorial Services to follow at 3 pm with Pastor Lyndia Sue Clayton, officiating.
