Augusta, GA. John A. Farrow, age 70, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at University Hospital. He was born August 3, 1943 in Millen, GA., to the late Alfred and Eva Kay Farrow.He was preceded in death by his first wife, Martha Farrow and his son, Tracy Farrow. He worked for P. & G. as a project manager for 30+ years before he retired.He loved playing his music.If it wasn’t country, it was southern gospel.He was a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church. He survived by his wife, Pam Farrow; his children, Anthony (Dana Newman) Farrow of North Augusta, S.C.; Ronnie (Danielle) Farrow of Augusta, GA., Micky Farrow of Augusta, GA., Randy Wheeler of North Augusta, S.C. and Amber Wheeler of Beech Island, S.C.; 4 grandchildren, Trent and Kyle Farrow; Caleb and Karleigh Wheeler; 1 sister, Alphalene Bowers of Millen, GA. Family will receive friends Sunday 3 pm to 6 pm at THE POTEET FUNERAL HOME, 3465 Peach Orchard Rd., Augusta, 30906, 706.798.8886. Funeral Services will be Monday 11 am the funeral home with burial to follow in Hebron Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Garfield, GA. Pallbearers will be Randy Womack, Tommy Paul, Randy Wheeler, Trent Farrow, Kyle Farrow, Rico Farrow and Bobby Wilkerson.
