Biography Mr. John Henry Dawson Retired Truck Drive Augusta, Ga. entered into rest February 9, 2012 at University Hospital. Mr. John Henry Dawson, 70. Husband of the late Mrs. Annette B. Dawson. Mr. Dawson a native of Gibson, Ga. lived most of his life in Augusta. He was a self-employed truck driver and worked for Murray Biscuit for 40 yerars. Survivors include two sons, John H. Dawson, Jonathan Dawson, Augusta, Ga. Step Son, Roy Cooper. Five daughters, Dorothy L.Gough (Charlie), Patricia A.Mitchell (Alonzo), Carla Dawson, Andrea M. Dawson and Natasha Willis, Step Daughter, Jamasena Copeland all of Augusta. Three brothers, Roy Dawson, Donald Dawson and Ray Dawson, Augusta, Ga. Three sisters, Betty Washington, Lois Bradley,Mary Dawson, Augusta, Ga. 21 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. And a host of relatives. Graveside services will be conducted Saturday at Southview Cemetery with Rev. Louis Williams officiating. The family will receive friends at 2:20 pm at 2524 Reese Ave. Augusta, Ga.
