John Marshall Baston

Mr. John Marshall Baston Augusta, GA, entered into rest August 25, 2016, Mr. John Marshall Baston, husband of the late Elizabeth (Sonny) Baston. John was born in Augusta, GA. He served in the U.S. Navy, during the Korean Conflict, and retired from Erskin Fraser Company as an Iron worker. He was a graduate of Evans High School and a Presbyterian. A private service will be held at a later date. Survivors include his daughters, Bonny Wells (Jerry); Roxy Pairman (Bruce); sisters, Romana Smith; Corrie Thomas; Myrtle Tyler. Three grandchildren, Tara Wells; Jerrid Wells and Blake Turner. Great grandson; Gavin Woody. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marshall & Gladys Baston; daughter, Lindsey Baston and his sister, Iva Jean Morris.
