Jo Ann Peacher

Jo Ann Peacher passed away on Saturday, April 15th. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Riggins Peacher; her beloved grandparents, aunts, uncles, and three precious cousins. She is survived by father, Joseph Nile Peacher; brother Joey; sister Nila (Robert) Shellito; daughter, Jennifer (Lonnie) Mills; granddaughter, Jamie (Shane) Waldun; grandsons Stryker, Gauge, and Tanner; nephews, Ben (Leigh) Hughes and Brock (Jessica) Hughes; and great nieces/nephews, Gabe, Parker, Isaiah, Camin, Rhett, Bailey, and Corbin Hughes. Jo was a retired Youth Probation Officer & teacher at Lakeside Middle and High Schools, and an active member of Central Christian Church and a loving sister-in-Christ to her church family. Visitation will be held on Saturday April 22nd at 12:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Central Christian Church, 220 Crawford Avenue, in Augusta. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with messages given by Pastor Steve Croft and Ronnie Stanford. In celebration of Jo’s reunion with her Lord, memorial contributions may be made to Central Christian Church.
