Biography Mr. Jimmy A. Carver Diesel Mechanic Augusta, Ga. Mr. Jimmy A. Carver, 68 of Augusta, GA entered into rest on Sunday, October 27. 2013 at University Hospital. He was a loving husband and father who loved his wife and children with his whole Heart....Jimmy was a hardworking man who always believed in a good days work and always made sure his family had what they needed and never went without....Jimmy also made it through things that were Unbelievable he had a strong will to live and was very loving man that believed in family....People always didn't understand Jimmy but he was a kind, gentle, loving man that would do anything to help anyone, especially his family...He will be missed by many....He is survived by his wife, Best Friend, and Love Cathy A. Carver, his 7 children and 21 Grandkids and one Great-grandchild.Children are Shannon Carver Lackey of Tarboro, GA and her son Justin Carver, Stephanie (Stevie) Taylor of Mt. Pleasant, GA and their 4 children, Shawn Ryan (Bogangals) Carver of Augusta, GA along with Ryan's daughter Kyla Carver, Blair Taylor, Michael Taylor and Katelyn Taylor, Jimmy (Jay) A. Carver, Jr. of Rincon, GA and his 3 children Jimmy (little Jimmy) A. Carver, III, Jayden Carver and Jacob Carver, Lucinda(Jamie) Johnson of Conway, SC and their 5 children Jamie Johnson, Jr., Taylor Johnson, Regan Johnson, Logan Johnson, and Kyle Johnson, Zoe (Nikki), (Buck) D. Vanzant of White Oak, GA and their 2 children Stephen A. Vanzant and Rhett A. Vanzant, Cheron J. (Mark) Douglas of Rossville, GA and their 4 children Ashley (Noodle) Prescott, Amber Condra, Alyssia Condra and Anessa Douglas and Shawn(Nicole) Williams of Augusta, GA and their two children Jordan Williams and Khloe (Bug) Williams. Brothers, Lewis Carver, Lonnie Carver, Wyman Carver, and John Carver and 2 sisters, Dorothy and Brenda Gail. A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday at 10:30 am at Living Waters Full Gospel Church with Rev. Oscar Whiteside, Jr. Officiating.
