Jimmy W. Cabe

Augusta, GA. Jimmy W. Cabe, age 78, of Augusta, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Eisenhower Army Medical Center. He was born May 30, 1937 in Booneville, AR., to the late Floyd and Jesse Ilene McCoy Cabe.He retired from the U.S. Army after 24 years of service in the Signal Corp. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ursula “Vicky” Cabe; children, James (Carolyn) Cabe of Augusta, Michelle Page of Augusta, Susan (Charlie) McKinnon of Harlem, Sharon (Robert Shirley) Nordeen of Augusta and Michael (Lisa) Cabe of Blythe; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Tuesday 5 pm to 6 pm at THE POTEET FUNERAL HOME, 3465 Peach Orchard Rd., HWY 25, Augusta, 30906, with Memorial Services to follow at 6 pm with full military honors being rendered.
