Mr. Jesse “Mane” Ross, was born July 27th, 1951 to Mr. and Mrs. Leroy and Ida Mae Ross. He was baptized at an early age at Cumming Grove Baptist Church where he was still a member. Jesse graduated from Westside High School. After graduating from high school, he caddied for Augusta Nationals and Midland Valley. He was inducted into the National Caddie Hall of Fame at Laney’s Museum’s Private Golf Reception. He also worked for Richmond County Board of Education where he was a bus driver. Jesse is preceded in death by: his parents, Leroy and Ida Mae Ross; four sisters, Priscilla “Bee” Ross, Angeline “Toot” Holland, Cynthia “Cynt” Ross, and Betty Hatchett; one brother, Willie “Fellow” Ross, and one sister-in-law Helen Ross. Jesse leaves to cherish: four children, Jessica (Corey) Dinkins, of Hephzibah, Ga, Nicole (Arthur) Eubanks-Bentley, Willie Eubanks Jr., both of Augusta, Ga, and Eunice Robinson ofAiken, SC; siblings, one sister, Annette Borum, of Augusta, Ga, three brothers, Charles (Karen) Ross, Tony (Cynthia) Ross, both of Augusta, Ga, and Leroy (Helen) Ross, of Atlanta, Ga; a cousin, Idella (James) Heyward, of Hephzibah, Ga; a host of grandchildren, great-grands, puppy-grands (Kash,Nova), nieces, nephews, family, friends, and two bestfriends, Willie “Buck” Sims, and Leroy Sutton, both of Augusta, Ga.
