Hephzibah – Jerry Wayne Whitten went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 16, 2016. A Celebration of his life will be held 1PM Tuesday November 22, 2016 at Victory Baptist Church with Pastors Arthur Ray Morris, Jr.and Arthur Ray Key. Jerry was dedicated husband, loving father, cherished son and adored Pop. Survivors include the love of his life, his princess wife Lynn Whitten; daughter and son-in-law Taylor Breyanne Whitten (Jere) Iacobucci; sons Jerry Wayne Whitten II, Brendan Ashton Ray Whitten and Chandler Blaine Whitten; mother Sarah Tarrant Whitten; brothers David Whitten, James Whitten and Clarence (Amanda) Whitten; grandson Mason (Al) Iacobucci ; and many loving family members The Family will receive friends from 6 until 8PM on Monday evening at Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta.
