Mr. Jerry Earl Edwards Sr., of Hephzibah, entered into rest on Tuesday, September 18, 2012.He was 69 years old. Mr. Edwards is survived by his wife, Nancy Boatwright Edwards, his children, Kathryn Edwards, of Augusta, Buzz Edwards (Kim), of Hephzibah, Cheryl E. Brown (Chad), of Waynesboro; his sister, Sandra Anderson (Ben), of Calhoun, Georgia;four grandchildren, Jessica Edwards, Ridge Edwards, Macie Brown, and Presley Brown.He was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Edwards. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 21, 2012 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. atPoteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta.The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. at the Poteet Funeral Home Chapel.The committal services will follow at Hephzibah Vance Cemetery.
