Jerome Gerald Wade, also known as Jerome, passed away on July 15, 2023, in Burke County. He was born on October 24, 1980, in Augusta, GA. Jerome was a loving person who adored his family and friends. He was well-mannered, always willing to help out, and never asked for anything in return. His kind and selfless nature endeared him to all who knew him. Jerome is survived by his three beautiful children, Carson, Ruby, and Dustin Wade, as well as his loving mother, Sharon Wade. He also leaves behind two sisters, Dawn (Michael) Rice and Jessica (the late Matthew) McDaniel, and two brothers, David Wade Jr. and Danny Wade. In addition, he is survived by his step-grandmother, Nancy Hall, and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and many beloved friends. Jerome was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, the late Delphine and Louise Wade Sr., his maternal grandparents, the late George Hall and Jewel Hall, his father, David Wade Sr., his brother, Darrell Wade, stepson Allen Pearl, and the love of his life, Tabetha Pearl. Professionally, Jerome was a skilled painter who took great pride in his work. He had a meticulous approach to his craft and loved covering walls with beautiful colors. His attention to detail was unmatched. Outside of work, Jerome had a passion for dancing and singing. He found joy in family gatherings and cookouts, cherishing the time spent with loved ones. A memorial service to honor Jerome's life will be held on July 29th at 2pm at Faith Baptist Church in Thomson, GA. Jerome Gerald Wade will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His love, kindness, and selflessness will forever be remembered and cherished. May he rest in peace.
