Jeanette Bilton

Jeanette Hughes Bilton Evans, GA—Entered peacefully into eternal rest on April 29, 2021. Jeannette was a lifelong resident of Augusta and the wife of the late George 'Denny' Bilton. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ and the church. Faithfully singing in the church choir until she was unable to continue. She adored her family and she will be terribly missed. Survivors include her children Tammy (Carl), Donnie (Sherry), and Terry (Katrina), nine grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by sons Tony, Bobby, and Darrell, and her parents George and Alma Hughes and her brothers George, Rudolph, Bernard, J.W., and Robert Hughes. The family acknowledges her very close and lifelong friends Charley and Carolyn Symonds. The family expresses it's sincere appreciation to Heartland Hospice and especially to her caregivers Kristy, RN, Paul, RN, Danale, Chaplin Bernard Mason and her close friend Judy. Above all the family is forever grateful to her daughter-in-law Katrina Burton (RN) who lovingly cared for our mom during her very long battle with Alzheimer's. The family will receive friends at Terry and Katrina's home in Evans following the graveside service which will take place at Westover Memorial Park on Monday, May 3, 2021 at 11AM and officiated by Pastor Bryan Cockrell.
