Janie S. Griffin

Janie S. Griffin, 82, entered into rest at her residence, wife of the late James Terrell Griffin. Janie, a native of Blakely, Georgia, lived in Augusta, Georgia since 1972, where she was the kitchen manager for the French Market Grill, a member of Pineview Baptist Church, and a member of the Faith Sunday School Class and WMU. Survivors include her daughters, Sabrina Leedom-Dodd; Kelley Bennett (John); Suzanne Wilson (Ed); stepsons, Terrell Griffin (Joe), Travis Griffin (Dawn); brother, Aubrey Rentz; sister, Marlene Rentz, nine grandchildren, other family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Betty McKnight, and her daughter, Pamela Byrd. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Pineview Baptist Church at 11:00 am with Reverend John Kilpatrick officiating.
