Jane Allen Waldrop

Jane Allen Waldrop, age 68 passed away August 2, 2022, in Augusta Georgia after a long battle with cancer.  She is preceded by her husband of 43 years, David Maples who passed March 3, 2022.  Jane Waldrop is survived by her sister Lucia Rider and family, her three children Jason Maples, Stephanie Worley, and Bill Maples and their families.  Jason Maples, wife Kathy, children Ben and Sydney, Stephanie Worley, husband Jimmy, children, Katherine and Kasey, Bill Maples, wife Leslie, children Eileen and Finnegan.

Jane was well known for designing landscapes and gardens that brought joy and serenity to her clients, friends, and community; as well as, teaching us how to develop a green thumb.  She had boundless energy to devote to her family and friends and loved to apply her interests to her fullest capability.  She derived happiness from sharing her knowledge, skills, and handiwork with others.  Some of her numerous interests included creating jewelry, watercolor painting, weaving, herbalism, dancing, and daylilies.  She also often helped people make connections to others that would benefit all.  She will be greatly missed.
