Mr. James (Jimmy) Guy Player, Jr Retired Wheelers Retail Store Augusta, Ga. entered into rest June 22, 2011 at Golden Living Rehab. Mr. James (Jimmy) Guy Player, Jr. Son of the late James Guy Player, Sr and Louise Fincher Player. He wasa native of Sumter, SC,lived in the Augusta area for the past 20 years . He was a Baptist and a Mason. Retired from Wheelers in Statesboro, Ga. Survivors include confidant and friend Lenda S.Fulcher, Augusta, GA, one daughter, Amanda Player, Myrtle Beach, SC, three sons, Phil Player (Gina), Winston Salem, NC, Tony Player (Gail) & Alex Player, Sumter, SC, three brothers, J.D. Player (Juanita) , Bobby Player (Mary), Ronnie Player, Lynchburg, SC. Four grandchildren, three great grandchildren Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 1:00 pm at McNeill Funeral Home Rev. Robert Griggs officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Frank DeRoller, Guy Player, Jamie Player, Andrew Maddox, George Lavernway, Marion Huggins, and Tanner McBride and Patrick Player The family will receive friends at McNeill Funeral Home Saturday from 11:00 to time of service.
