James E. Pardue

James E. “Ed” Pardue, Sr. entered into rest on Monday January 15, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Pardue was Manager with Carstarphen Paper Company and was a manager with Magic Markets for many years. A gathering of friends will be held from 6 until 8 PM on Friday January 19, 2018 at Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta. Survivors include his wife of 65 years Clara M. Pardue; son-and daughter-in-law James “Jimmy” (Jane) Pardue, Jr.; daughters and sons-in-law Ann (Bobby) Barnes, Karen (Jeff) Ard and Linda Pardue Daniel; sister Dorothy Henry; special nephew Ray Henry; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; faithful companion Mitzi.
