James W. (Jim) Moore

James W. (Jim) Moore, 80, entered into rest June 26, 2018 at University Hospital. He leaves behind his wife of 58 years, Ann D. Moore Jim was a native of Vidalia, Georgia, but lived most of his life in the Evans, GA area. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, past member of the Augusta Lyons Club and Optimist Club. He was the former owner of Moore Wilbert Vault Company and Columbia Monument Company. Additional survivors include his sons, Larry M. Moore (Susan), James W. (Jamie) Moore (Richanne), and daughter, Toni M. Alewine (Pete); a brother, Michael Moore (Suzette), and sister, Jeannette Coleman(the late Randall); eight grandchildren: Peter (Sarah Beth) and Paul (Carson)Alewine, Elizabeth Alewine Wells(Evan), Tyler Moore (Katelynn), Hannah Moore Wiebe( Ricky), Carly Snoddy, Toni Ferrara (Joel), and Kelsey Moore Minter (Zack), as well as eleven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Monday, July 2, 2018, at Wesley United Methodist Church at 6:00PM. Visitation will be at 5:00.
