James Richard Mcleod

Biography Mr. James Richard McLeod Retired SFC, U.S. Army Grovetown, Ga. Entered into rest July 24, 2012 at his residence. Mr. James Richard McLeod, husband of Mrs. Takako Metani McLeod. Mr. McLeod, a native of Shellman, Ga., lived most of his life in the Augusta area. Heproudly served in the U.S. Army for 26 years. He was a Buddhist. Additional survivors include his son, Riley McLeod (Doris) Grovetown, Ga.;four brothers, Lee McLeod (Duane), Martin McLeod (Nancy), Doug McLeod (Glenda) and Greg McLeod (Robin); two grandchildren, Leslie Reese (David)and Lauren Quackenbush (Aaron); and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren & Ruby McLeod, and two brothers, Marcus and Mel McLeod. A memorial service will be conducted Friday, August 3, 2012 at Bellevue Memorial Gardens Chapel at 2:00 pm. Full Military Honors to be accorded at the service.
