James Heron Mcintosh

James Heron McIntosh 89, beloved husband, treasured daddy, cherished grandfather and faithful and honorable great-grandfather went home to be with his heavenly father on November 9, 2016. He was loved and treasured by all who knew him and will be terribly missed. Mr. McIntosh was retired from Savannah River Plant. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II . Funeral services will be held 1PM Saturday November 12, 2016 at Miracle Baptist Church with Rev. David Shelton and Rev. John Bartlett officiating. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens. He will lie in state 1 hour prior to the service at the church, where the family will receive friends. Survivors include his devoted wife Dorothy Thomas McIntosh; daughter and son-in-law Valerie (Guy) Icenhour; brother and sister-in-law Jerry (Kay) McIntosh; sisters Peggy Pope, Maxine Mitchum and Carol Crump; three granddaughters Angela (Shane) Rutland, Jamie (Adam) King and Heather (Chris) Hughes; eight great-grandchildren.
