James "Jimmy" Bransford Pender, Jr.

James (Jimmy) Bransford Pender, Jr., 72, passed away January 24, 2025. Mr. Pender was the son of the late James (Jack) Bransford Pender, Sr. and Betty Ann Adkins Pender. He is survived by his wife, Julie Anne L’Heureux Pender of Augusta, Georgia; one daughter, April Marie O’Steen (Glenn) of Evans, Georgia. Mr. Pender was a 1970 graduate of Evans High School and went to work, soon after graduation, for his family’s business, American House and Garden Center. He went on to own and operate a landscape and maintenance business called Spring Hill Farm which lasted 25 years. Throughout his life, Jimmy was an avid horticulture enthusiast and had a passion for landscaping, gardening and cooking. He will be greatly missed by friends and family. Services will be private.
