James "Jim" Robert Blackwelder

James “Jim” Robert Blackwelder, age 59, husband of Dana Connally Blackwelder, went home to be with the Lord on June 5th, 2021. Jim was born on July 3rd, 1961, in Dodge City, Kansas. He was a graduate Evans High School, Class of 1979. He lived and worked in Evans for the majority of his life. Jim was the owner of Ace Pressure Washing Service and a member of West Acres Baptist Church. He loved nothing more than to spend time with his family and being in the outdoors hunting, fishing or finding arrowheads. Additional survivors include his son, Robert Blackwelder (Carly) and his sister, Jan Bryant (Keith). He has a large extended family including aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins who reside in Georgia and elsewhere in the US. Jim’s life will be celebrated on Thursday, June 10th, 2021 at 2:30pm at West Acres Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Harmon officiating.
