James "Jamie" Hinton Mcarthur Ii

James "Jamie" Hinton McArthur II, age 43, of Augusta, Georgia, passed away peacefully while in the hospital. He was born on August 26, 1981, in Augusta to David and Teresa McArthur. Jamie is survived by his loving parents, David and Teresa McArthur; his siblings, Stephanie Busbee, Katherine Comeaux, Christina Barnes, and Evan McArthur; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family who adored him. Jamie was a child of special needs whose life was filled with joy, laughter, and a pure heart. His presence brought light to everyone who knew him, and he will be remembered for his infectious spirit and the happiness he spread to those around him. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church on Friday, October 18, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Jamie’s memory to Autism Speaks or Special Olympics, two causes that held special meaning in his life. As we reflect on Jamie’s life, we find comfort in the words of Matthew 5:8: “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.”
