James Timothy "Tim" Hilliard

James Timothy “Tim” Hilliard, 59, who entered into rest October 22, 2021at his residence. A celebration of Tim’s life will be held at 2pm Monday, November 1, 2021, in the Chapel, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2108 Eastland Drive, Augusta with Bishop Miller. We ask that all in attendance please bring your best memories to share, and truly celebrate his love, individuality, and legacy.The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Tim was born June 14, 1962, in McCrae, Georgia, Telfair County,to Linda Faye (Linus) Prescott and the late Wilbert James Hilliard. He worked for many years as a hairdresser. Tim loved his wife, children, grandchildren, entire family, and many friends. He enjoyed dancing, singing, watching movies,and listening to music, especially Elvis. In addition to his father Tim was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Gracelyn Sikes. Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Pauline Hilliard; mother of his children, Laura Mullen; daughters, Erin (Jamey) Curry, Megan (David Sikes) Hilliard, Carly (Eric) Poth; son, Derek (Michelle) Hilliard; twelve grandchildren, Brandon Walton-Curry, Hannah Walton-Curry, Kaitlyn Curry, Michael McKenzie, Bradley Robinson, Greysen Sikes, Emma Grace Sikes, Brailyn Poth, Isabella Coleman, LucasLoungeway-Poth, Derek Hilliard, Jr., and Jackson Holiday Hilliard; brother, Mike (Dottie) Hilliard; nieces, Sarah and Anna; great nieces, Liliana and Zoey.
