Mr. James Pete Belvin, Jr. Retired City of Augusta Augusta, Ga., entered into rest November 21, 2014 at his residence with his cat Cleo and his wife Samm by his side after a long illness. Mr. Belvin a native of Moultrie, Ga. Mr. Belvin has lived most of his life in Augusta. He worked for Southern Railroad and a Broker for Mulherin-Belvin Real Estate Co. The Augusta-Richmond County Transportation Authority and the Public Works Dept. He was a member of Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church. A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday at 2:00 pm at Westover Memorial Park. His close friends will be pallbearers. He is survived by his wife Samm LaVerne Buice Belvin, daughter, Lora Belvin Seibert, Midville, Ga., grandchildren, Lelia Ann & Melvin. Brother-In-Law; David Buice. Several Nieces and Nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Pete Belvin, Sr. and Leila Brown Belvin and one sister, Lelia Belvin Neimann.
