James Albert Arnold

James Albert Arnold was born in Duluth, GA, on February 7, 1950. He was a jack of all trades from a young age and had a passion for farming. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Henrietta Shelton Arnold. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, gardening, and going to hog shows. He was a member of the Pine Hill Methodist Church. Others left to cherish his memories include his daughter, Brandy Deraney Williford (Chris) of Mitchell, GA; granddaughter’s, Ariel Deraney Hubbard (Jacob) of Rayle, GA, and Jessie Deraney of Mitchell, GA; great granddaughters, Harper, Piper, and Paisley. His sisters, Sue Ann Burton (Terry) of Lawrenceville, GA; Lita Holcomb (Ted) of Hoschton, GA; and several nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; Tom and Susie Arnold, sister Rita Arnold, brother Gilbert Arnold, and son-in-law Michael Deraney. A celebration of life will be held on February 22, 2025, at 11:00AM at Pine Hill Methodist Church, GA Hwy 248 at Wilker School Road, Wilker School Rd. Warthen, GA. 31094
