J. C. Goodwin, Jr.

J.C. Goodwin, Jr., 72, entered into rest January 15, 2018, husband of the late Betty Goodwin. Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Hephzibah-Vance Cemetery, Hephzibah, Georgia with Reverend Rick Busby officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00-12:00 noon before the service. Pallbearers will be, Tommy Dunham, Glenn Wilkerson, Dink Garland, John Garland, Charles Mills, Paul McGahee and Jimmy Weeks J.C. was born in Old Ellington, S.C., on March,13, 1945 to the late Jesse C. Goodwin, Sr., and Lillie Mae Goodwin. He was a concrete finisher. He is survived by his son, Jesse C. Goodwin, III., daughter, Tammy Goodwin, Sisters, Ella Newsome(Dearl)and Debra Dunham(Tommy)and other family members.
