Mrs. Ilene Cornett Dyson Mrs. Ilene Dyson, of Augusta, died on Saturday, November 19, 2011.The family will receive friends tomorrow, Friday, November 25, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta, 706.798.8886.The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, November 26, at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.Committal will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mrs. Dyson is survived by her son, John E. “Eddie” Dyson, of Mableton, Georgia; her step children, Tommy Dyson and his wife, Kim, of Marietta, Georgia, and Connie Dyson, of Augusta; her daughter-in-law, Tammie Dyson, of Augusta; her siblings, Freda (Paul) Fuller, of Augusta, Astor (Glenda) Cornett, of Detroit, Michigan, Shirley (Joe) Tussey, Ronnie (Sharon) Cornett, Doug Cornett, and John (Colleen) Cornett, all of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Dyson, of Mableton, Jeremy Dyson, of Augusta, EME4 Justin Dyson, and his wife, Aminta, of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, Jessica Dyson, of Augusta, and Eric Dyson and his wife, Shannon, of Acworth, Georgia; her great-grandchildren, Kaleb Dyson, Alyssa Dyson, Kyle Dyson, Kristin Dyson, and Gavin Dyson.She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Dyson, in 2001, and by her parents, Otto and Gladys Stapleton Cornett.
