Mr. Hubert Guy Stanley, Jr. Mechanical Engineer Augusta, Ga. Hubert Guy Stanley, Jr., born on September 27, 1947, passed away on September 6, 2013 at University Hospital. He moved to Augusta, GA in 1984 to work at Plant Vogtle, and later worked at Savannah River Nuclear Site and Bridgestone Tire. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Hubert Guy Stanley, Sr. and Sara King Stanley as well as on brother. He is survived by his son, Todd Stanley and Wife Debbie of Dearing, GA; grandson Cole Stanley and wife Becca of Union, SC; and step-granddaughter, Stephanie Higdon. Additional survivors include three sisters, Jeanie Hiers, Pat Warren and Sandee Copeland. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Mr. Stanley's hometown of Blakely, GA.
