Hoyt Clay Matthews, Jr

Hoyt Clay Matthews, Jr, age 52, of Grovetown, Georgia passed away August 16,2022. Clay was a graduate of Augusta College with a degree in Culinary Arts. Clay was a longtime residence of Augusta, Georgia and later moved to Columbia County. Left to cherish his memory includes his mother Judy Barden Sleister and her husband Richard Sleister. One sister Tammy Matthews Jacobs (Mickey). Stepsister Dawn Cobb (Jerry). Stepbrothers Steven and Scott Sleister. Nieces Aubrey Coffman (Matthew) and Emma Jacobs. He was proceeded in death by his father Hoyt Clay Matthews, Sr. A memorial will be announced by the family at a later date. A private burial will be at New Hope Baptist Church, Lincolnton, Georgia.
